The reason I started the seeds a bit early is during the last week we were on a LA/Death Valley/Vegas road trip. This is the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes in Death Valley in the early evening. 97 degrees. Death Valley is like another planet with a wide variety of landscapes and elevations. One of the highlights was a 87 degree spring fed pool and looking up into the sky at night.
