Thank you to Steve Connolly for his 1046 seeds. I purchased a Jump Start germination dome and this grow bulb over the winter and did some seed starting experiments/practice.
I stated the seeds today. Probably a bit early as I will not be using a hoop house/green house. Given the offsite location of my plot and city traffic multiple trips a day just isn’t in the cards and I would risk burning the plants and frost at night. I started in five inch peat pots and will be transplanting to one gallon pots, maybe two gallon pots depending on the weather.
