A former outdoor tomato grower emailed me asking how we pollinate the indoor plants. I thought it was a good question so this is a picture how i do it. I use a device meant just for pollination. It is called a vegibee. It vibrates a bit faster than an electric toothbrush similar to frequency of a bees wings. When the flower opens i vibrate the blossom on it's side for about 4 seconds three time per day. I place a spoon under the blossom to see how much pollen is dropping. If it drops a lot, i will sometimes attempt to manually add pollen to the stigma of the flower. How do you electric toothbrush users do it?
