The sand I usually put in my raised beds is from a draw that drains favorable geology that has calcite and selenite(gypsum) and liginite coal (humic fulvic). It is not good for construction sand because it breaks down over time. Just ask several 30's and 40's built houses in Riverton lol. Anyway I figured if it's breaking down that would be good for the soil. (Shrug)
