I would hold off the peroxide for a while and just keep it dry. If you have already killed any superficial pathogens, more peroxide could cause tissue damage or more likely it's just adding additional moisture after it breaks down to O2 and water. The landscape fabric underneath is a big help for these situations, keep it up!

Is that from sunburn? Chemical burn? I agree with the above advice, until you figure out the cause.
