If I could suggest anything, it'd be to use a High-N fertilizer*, water-soluble, that also has the other components, but in...do you follow anyone else's Diary, I wondered? No need to say whose, if at all, but I wish your plants were *bigger, your bugs would go away and you would win a prize at any event you go to for your crop. Personally, I am using 24-8-16 (not trying to preach all over BP.c that THAT is the weigh to go, lol) at a 1 TBSP/gallon H20 dosage as often as I can or at every 2-3 days' max. intervals. I could not be happier with the plants' health and the fact that I am gonna pollinate my 2003 Haist tomorrow in the AM with my 839 Sandercock with 2 males. I think the 2003 is about 15 feet long and all of my bigger plants have grown about 7 feet each since about (phone is on the charger, awww) 10 days ago - maximum duration, a guess. I'd wait until at least a 10-foot length on each plant, having fertilized as much as you wanted per the above regimen and STILL use the 5?-15?-5? UP in-between, during and after all pollination activity; I intend to switch to 10-52-10 upon any plant from there on out and having mature males in abundance. Here's a thing I don't think anyone would agree with: Using High-Phos and then laying off of it after pollinations is a no-no to me. Why would I stop what is supposed to be a key component of the 'pollination period'? So, no 15-5-15 nor 0-0-100, lol. All the elements must have their say, please. Let's face it - If anything works for ME, it would HAVE TO work for anyone else, lol. Awww...I'm...not a heavy Hitter. Oh, well. There are about 5 other plants that are lining up their females for early-next-week pollinations, even on solely 24-8-16, due to Good Luck and Nature's Way. EDIT: I used to use 15-30-15 ALL the time, as I did not venture out to find anything different - until about probably 2003, lol. Awesome! Give it some thought and I wish you well. eric g

well i guess i dont need the 5-15-5 (or maybe i do) if you look at my next entry i think ill go with 9' and 24 secondaries behind!!!
