Cuke Beetles are tough.
The easy answer is get a spray liscence, or know someone with a spray liscence, and find an imidachloprid based product (need commercial spray liscence to purchase and use in canada)
Or get a ton of traps such as yellow sticky tape, or fill yellow cups with soap water, or im sure pheromone traps exist.

Maybe I'll try putting cups with essential oils by the pumpkins to mask the scent? Your yellow soap bucket do7nds good though. In the land I have everyth8ng must be 100 percent natural so I can't use those pesticides

Someday when I have any plants in a Floating Row Cover Greenhouse, like I used to in my Pumpkin Dream World Days, lol, I'll try a bug zapper that is like 40 years old. It'd be too non-selective to use it out in the open. Good Luck---eg
