I would put the light on the other side and leave it alone, maybe turn it on 24/7 and/or/or/and get some 3' bamboo stakes before the skewers become much-less-effective; Concerning that, do put the stakes in the ground as far away from the plant's center as possible - there are all those roots being punctured, unavoidably. I love the skewers, though - I need to get more! I have a 500 bundle of stakes, 3'-ers, that was not a bad deal. Low miles, lol.
