I would not focus too much on that one area, the growing section, for the direction nor the ETA of the laying-down of it. It is already at a 45-degree-or-so angle, looking great. The far-right leaf stalk in the picture would be the best 'handle' and I would leave it all alone. It will grow and f'r instance, the leaf stalk might break but who might care a LOT, but the growing tip? Oyyy. Nice seedling---eric g

Nice sturdy looking plant so it may not bend as readily. Artificial light or darkness can be coercive. Its rarely done, but if it really doesnt want to lay down flat you could have the plant, at least temporarily, grow over an inanimate object... I've sometimes let them grow over a little pile of straw. Dont make any major adjustments unless the weather is hot, like after noon on an 80 degree day... the vines are more pliable and hopefully wont snap or crack.

Maybe you already have artificial light on the ground in front of the plant? I cant tell for sure. Ps I would only prune stuff that I know will be a problem later. It's a bit too early for me to see any "wrong" growth. But if you intend to cut it off anyhow then most growers would probably say the sooner the better. If you're inclined to do tissue testing then you can choose to remove some extra growth at that time.
