49RD x 24 AC = 73"
It's written on a pack of sunflower seeds. Thanks.

Embrace the AI: I what does 49RD x 24 AC = 73" written on sunflower seeds mean
That line is basically telling you the planting spacing / density recommendation for those sunflower seeds.
49RD = about 49,000 seeds per acre (“RD” = recommended density)
24 = 24-inch row spacing
AC = per acre
= 73" = about 73 inches (≈6 feet) of row length needed to reach that planting rate at that spacing

i would guess this is for big head sunflowers. I am thinking the 49 is for the circumference(rd might be an abreviation for round)and the 24 is the measurement across(ac for across) for a total score of 73 inches. I could be wrong in my guess. but I am thinking that I am much closer than what AI was guessing.

I think, unlike Dahlias, they don't include the flower petals.
Its something akin to the 3 way measurement for tomatoes?
I appreciate how smart Ai is, but...

I second bnot's interpretation. Believe Chris Brown is using this new way of measuring for a more complete description of a big head sunflower size.
