How many DAP for Butternuts to produce seeds? Thanks

Not sure as to what would be the earliest to harvest viable seeds, but I'm quite confident that 50 DAP should be fine, and some additional weeks on the plant cannot hurt. It certainly depends on the fruit's growth as well. So, when the fruit stopped growing after maybe 40 days and then begins to change color, the seeds might be in different condition at 50 DAP as if it were a fruit that still grows and grows and doesn't mind changing color.
