Another person to watch, for some good insights. But there is still a lot we won't know. How smart are we, when most of us are not smart enough to know how many hairs we have on our own head? The point being, everyone overlooks the most basic knowledge.
Or put another way, do we really need infinite knowledge?
We can make it through our entire life without knowing how many hairs are on our head. Why would we seek to know everything when the knowledge of everything is not essential?
Hmm. Lots to think about, also lots to not think about?

As individuals, We understand so very little about the world we live in. The best we can do is to understand how our actions manipulate and affect the things we are around. For example how many of us fully understand how a car works and could actually build or manufacture one for ourselves. It doesn't matter... because most people know how to get into the car buckle their seat, belt turn the key, put it into gear, turn the steering wheel and use the vehicle to go where we want it to go. Brad Paisley said it right, "when your living in a world that you don't understand, find a few good buddies and start a band" LOL

I've had thoughts similar to this, about my role in a world for which I'm not adapted full of things which I could not construct. I use things that I would have no inclination to invent myself. The younger generation is probably less afraid of AI. It could all be fearmongering. I think the most nefarious outcome would be for sociopathic humans to create a depopulation catastrophe and blame a rogue AI even though they were in control the entire time. We are easily duped.
