Hello! I'd like to try growing some heirloom cotton this coming season, and I'm hoping someone in the States is willing and able to help me out. I will pay cash for the seeds and shipping.

I was fortunate enough to visit Texas a couple years back, and had the experience of a lifetime. No disrespect to the other western states, you guys are cool too, but Texas was incredible. If you've never been, I can't recommend it highly enough. Anyways, while I was down there, I picked up a few seeds from an heirloom cotton variety that had been grown since the late 19th century. The following spring, I overzealously planted them way too early and the four seedlings died of damping-off disease while they were just tiny. I was heartbroken... I had hoped to grow a little reminder of the amazing times I had in Texas.

Well, I am determined to resurrect that dream this year. I'm hoping an American colleague would know of/have access to a small number of heirloom white cotton seeds, and upon receiving payment, would be willing to mail them to Canada. Ideally, the seeds should have a story (like being grown from the same seeds for over a century), although that's not super critical. I don't really want store bought seeds.

I realize that cotton has some pretty strict regulations in certain states, but I'm holding out hope that someone might be able to work something out. If you are interested, please leave a reply below. Alternatively, if you have any pointers as to who I might reach out to, I'd be grateful. Thank you!

I have bought cootton from these guys before, i guess they do ship to canada but there is a 15 dollar surcharge. It might be worth it if you order enough stuff from them. They have varieties you cant get anywhere else in the world!
