I was wondering what factors cause tomato size. Had one in the sun last year that outgrew the others, but shade can be good too, at least in terms of delaying ripening and maybe keeping the right temps for cell division. Anyhow, in this case I saw no difference in shade vs sun. Thickness is the same. Which makes me suspect a 3rd factor. But I'll save that for another day.
