Good fungicides prevent several other issues besides Downy depending on frac # including but not limited to Phytophtora ( my issue) fusarium, plectosporium,powdery, ect. Make sure fungicides are approved for use in your state? Consult with your local university or horticultural research and extension center-its a quick easy search!
