Shade netting went up last week before a stretch of 90 degree days. I decided on the 30% white shade net after researching it this past winter. So far I have been impressed with it keeping the greenhouse close to ambient outdoor temperature. It's been a big learning curve going from outdoor growing to greenhouse growing. The heating system, ridge vent, Horizontal Air Flow fans have all done exactly what they are intended to do. The drip irrigation so far has been a bit of an issue. The slope in my greenhouse is making it difficult to water evenly. I have to be very careful that the low side does not get too much water. In the future some adjustments will have to be made to the system.
