Big pollination day today! I had nice 4 lobe females open this morning on my 2731 Stelts and 2551 Ford plants. This is a pic of the 2731 which is at 19 feet. The 2551 is at 21 feet. While I was doing my work early this morning I kept thinking about all the work it has taken to get my pollinations on super large plants this early in the season. I truly do believe that it is critical to have pollinations on big, healthy, vigorous plants around this date to maximize the end size of the fruit where I live!
