I moved my second 785 Schmit plant into the genetics patch today. The plan is to pollinate a pumpkin on this one with the 2029 Kent plant to produce beautiful orange seed stock. I like using the "walls of water" sometimes because you can almost forget about the plant for a couple of weeks. I just have to be careful taking it off the plant so as not to damage the plant.
