Pumpkins and a tomato planted into the native soil which I soil tested. To show the results of the unamended native soil these were not given any fertilizer or amendment. They look "ok" but will fail soon due to lack of nutrients. The sodium measured very high at 500 ppm but its mostly bound to the clay so the plants may or may not be absorbing too much. The overall salt EC is low. At this point, these plants are likely deficient in copper, nitrogen and calcium. Ending this test. There's not much else to learn here. I may start a new test tonight or tomorrow.
