They're pushin along! Not pictured is my Lowes seed hill which is somehow holding on strong! One of the seeds is growing faster than my Gurneys hill, but only slightly. The other Lowes seed has fallen over but new leaves are starting to grow out through the old leaves and towards the sun, so there's still some fight in that one. Watch it grow and be the most viable in the summer haha They weathered their first storm, literally, this weekend. The night after I transplanted them into the patch, we had a windy front blow through and I didn't get out to cover them because it happened in the middle of the night. Woke up to find happy plants just soaking up the sun so I guess they were okay with it. Two more storms blew up this weekend and I, again, didn't cover them because it wasn't supposed to be windy and once again, they came out unscathed! I'm not planning on leaving them uncovered through every storm, these were just dust ups that came in before I could get out there to them and they seemed to love the rain, but going forward, if we're to have any major storms, I'll make sure to cover them haha We also got really cold the last two nights but they weathered that as well, so hopefully this bodes well for them!
