Wednesday, February 25 View Page I started one seed each of the tomato seeds listed below for a little wintertime experiment. I started these seeds with the plan to severely neglect them, over stress them and just run them through their paces. Out of the ten seeds planted only one plant survived which was the 5.53 Young plant in the picture. Time of the photo is 30 days since popping dirt, and is already greening up nicely after being repotted into that 3 gallon nursery pot a few days ago. I have room for maybe 50 tomato plants with 4ft spacing but I'm thinking maybe 25-30 just so I can make sure they get all the attention they need.
