Clarification is needed concerning when the auction is running in 2 spots: http://www.bigpumpkins.com/MsgBoard/ViewThread.asp?b=3&p=737562 and http://www.bigpumpkins.com/msgboard/ViewThread.asp?b=26&p=737632 If a grower reads one and not the other, they will not know the truth. It is noted in two places. Actually, THREE now.
Not updated in two places and not running in two/three places.

If ANYone reads it in one place and I read it in another about when it starts and stops and ANYone or I did not get the seed(s) because of it, that would be wrong. It's like 'What? Didn't you get the email?' That'd suck, and I do not care at ALL butt I, too, look out for anyone I can.

Every time there's a silent auction there is a lack of this vital information. When to when. Most anyone will go to just before Lot 1 of a Silent Auction on the Lots page of it. If not, then, other info from us Nice Guys is available butt not everyone has double the experience with knowing to look all around for what should be in every lot listed.
I hope this makes sense to anyone other than myself.

If you scroll back through the auctions thread you will find more that were done this way and even at least one where it was seed sales for a site. I believe having their own thread is a newer thing.
If there is an advantage/disadvantage I do not know. Probably just how a person prefers to do it. But I do know this is not the first time I have promoted this particular seed auction but it is the first time(not you) . . . . .

Ya I would say that about sums it up spudder regarding preference "how to do it", they have always done it this way far as I know? At the end of the day, those that are interested will definitely tune in. And I should add they have the 155 ATEN FP up for grabs, it was a PEI beauty and no other auction has offered it yet.

Perhaps if anyone got a picture of the 155 and probably others on BP or PF it might get some bids? I know that I won't buy a seed anymore with no information on it, lol, and just a simple picture, an indication...is worth a bunch of bids. As I've said before, though, it'll be the seeds I do not buy that end up rockin' the Pumpkin World! eg
