I wanted to put down some mustard seed this spring but I think that late frost wont allow it in Kentucky. Is there a better alternative or could I get away with the mustard? Thanks all.

They have a product call bio-fence. Which is mustard pellets and will do same thing without the growing. It comes out of Tennessee

Do you have to order by phone. I can’t find online purchase options.

Mustard can handle the frost. seed it heavy, figuring half will die off over winter. as soon the first sign of warm weather in the spring it shoots up like a rocket. last 3 of 4 winters my mustard has overwintered. The foliage dies back but the crown remains.

If you are in Western Kentucky by the Missouri border, you are good. I am not sure the further East you go into the mountains.
