The Masterblend 4-18-38 fertilizer label only provides instructions for "spray tanks" and "transplants". My drip irrigation doesn't allow me to mix in fertilizer, so I'm going to dissolve it in a watering can, and manually apply it. Does anyone know the correct fertilizer:water ratio, per unit of area, and how often it should be applied?

I just put 2 cups in 200 gallons yesterday and it gave me an E.C. reading of about 1.2. There are 16 tablespoons in a cup and 3 teaspoons in tablespoon. so if I did the math right that would be about 1 teaspoon for a 2 gallon watering can. I am putting it through my drip Irrigation once every 4 days in a rotation with other fertilizers. I have no idea if that is too often or not enough.

As an aside to your question, I use an injector with my drip system. Link below. Works well and is inexpensive. Might be a good option if you have a large plant. It does have its limitations when compared to a large water tote where you can measure your ph and EC first.

What area is that dosage supposed to cover?
