After a miserable, cold spring with everything (trees, flowers, etc) about three weeks behind, we've been hit with a heat wave. New records around the region. I had my small little vines still in cloches but had to put up the hoop house frames yesterday to get my cooling misters up and over the vines. I won't be needing the hoop house for at least the rest of the week, it appears. I would prefer a slight moderation in the temps. We will see.

Yes it feels like we skipped right over spring and into summer. It was cool up until the end of April and now it's quite hot.

Yep its crazy, the most 80 degree days we see in May is usually just 2 at most.
