He doesn't mention the importance of boosting calcium and balancing the other cations, but other than that its a good video on dealing with clay:

Soil moisture monitoring/not overwatering would be the final concern.

Good video and I wonder if Googling
does mycorrhizae help plants with flooding?
will be of assistance. I was glad to see that it very well
may, butt I've no side-by-side comparisons.
PS---I can remove this if a hijack has occurred.

I suspect that flooding does NOT help mycorrhizae and that it really prefers things slightly on the dry side of field capacity. But I've not looked into the science.

Rather, butt not to re-word the Google attempt: >Does Mycorrhizae help plants to survive if flooding is at-hand.< Replace Mycorrhizae with 'life jackets'. Same idea and my seedlings that have Myco as the starting medium are still doing just fine with only Myco and 24-8-16/H2O that they have been submerged in and at various levels of floodage. eg

Hmm what about some tests using your patch soil and varying the levels of moisture. Presumably the soil moisture that grows the best myco also grows the healthiest plant.

As one, so the other (maybe the 1st time that's been said, lol, if I were to be so bold...); Nah, too much like work - the testing, that is. I'm just saying that (deeply-) Mycorrhizae-amended soil may be more likely to help plants survive in a waterlogged circumstance than non-Mycorrhizae-amended soil; I earlier today added a half inch of 24-8-16 water to The Disadvantaged Ones, lol. I'd better get some pics in my Dairy about it. My 166s seem to 'like' a blue, smelly (when swirled) watery mess and it'd be a hoot to plant them out as any others when the time comes. eg
