Here is the misting system I have set up to keep the heat at bay. The misters turn on for 5 minutes every hour between 11 am and 4 pm. The misting kit was $45.00 from Arizona Mist (http://www.azmist.com), and the timer was $42.00 from Melnor, at Home Depot. I added $25.00 more in PVC posts, and the whole setup was less than $150.00. Of course, it rained every day I worked on this project. Isn't that good karma?
