You can easily see the wedge shape to the blossom end looking at the 1227 from the side. The is a rediculous set up for supporting a Giant pumpkin, but all we had to work with. I'd preffer to go with a more sturdy set up next year. I will have to get 8 x 3' 2x4 boards, a hand saw, and a drill and long screws, and a 5' x 5' board, and a can of grate foam to build a nice sturdy stand Next year.
