Mercer County Weights and Measures stopped by the house today to look at the plant. They plan on taking the official measurement next week. I have already fastened a 21 foot flag pole to the plant. There is a 4 foot wooden dowel rod sticking out of the top of the flag pole. I have every three feet marked with red tape. From this I can measure 23 feet and a few inches. I'm standing on top of a 10 ft. ladder in this picture. The plants are are flowering heavily now. Hopefully, I'll get an extra inch of two from the flower tassel before next week.
