This little girl couldn't take the pressure.
Interesting thing happened this a.m.
This little girl was on the first secondary of my 961 - about 20 foot out.
Pretty small for this time of the year, but was just going to be a give-away carver for Halloween.
The secondary was severed from the main plant two days ago.
This plant has been grown organically NO synthetic fertilizer, insecticide or fungicide has been given.
I gently picked her up to re-position & check the stress on the stem.
Right when I set her back down... POOFFHH! she exploded in my hands.
The plant had been watered earlier in the morning.
I attribute the explosion to the water addition and the internal composition of the fruit.
I obviously handled it at the incorrect time & upset the internal balance within.
Sounded kinda cool though.
