This is my old patch and about another 1000 sq ft of cleared blackberries. The roots that I will take out of the ground when I rototill this spring are the size of tree roots. Check out the blackberries in the background, we have about 1 acre of these and are almost impossible to get rid of. Nothing has been added to the soil. I will probably plant one or two plants and the rest of the garden here but I'm not expecting any world records or anything close from here.
