I finally got a lite set up that keeps plants from getting leggy just wondering how long to leave them under lites before hardening off

After the plants start to develop their secondary leaves and if it is not too cold or windy.

You don't want them to get rootbound. So from two days to three week depending on what container or peat pots theyre in.

Set them out side whenver the weather allows like 55 & sunny & up. Take baby steps 1 hour here & there at first. If its real hot & sunny set them in the shade the first day.If it is to crappy out.run a fan in the room to toughen them up a little. Not blowing on them just moving the air in the room enough to create some movement on the stalk.

I wasn't sure if too long under lites would hurt the plant or make it root bound I switched from peat pots to half gallon pails to get away from repotting them , looks like spring will arrive all at once. Thanks, Orv
