So my plants are in pots for their third day and this morning I notice the dreaded white fuzz on the surface of my starting material. Is this damping off or could it be from the mycorrhizea that I added to the starting mix? I made sure to squeeze all drops of water out of starting mix...(air temps are 80-83 degrees)...Thoughts?

I've heard about the cinnamon thing before...does anyone know what the cinnamon actually does?

I should have guessed that my 7 year old daughter had a reason for putting pumpkin pie spice in the starting mix. It has cinnamon in it.

On a slightly related noted, I put some thiram treated seeds (the pink or blue coated seeds) into the cup when presoaking my freak seed. The thiram made the water pink and soaked into the seed. I will do this every time I attempt to germinate a high value seed. It should take care of those fungal issuses.
