Does anybody or has anybody used these before, a pot for the seedling made out of newspaper? I'm thinking of using only I'm thinking they might fall apart decompose to fast before planting.

I use them every year. I take a large coffee can (33oz) use two layers (sheets) of news paper and wrap it around the can.Fold the rest to make the bottom. I use a hot glue gun to hold it together, even though tape would work. I then fill with my seed starter mix and plant my pumpkin seed in it. By the time you get ready to plant, the news paper is very soft from watering plant. Just bury the whole thing. No shock to roots. Works for me. Just keep them on a board or in a small box because as the get softer they begin to fall apart.

I used a stapler. Once you get geared up, they go pretty quick. Thanks for reminding me of this...I was aimlessly looking for small pots this morning to transplant in.
