kat you should try to start youre seeds between april 26th to the 30th start them inside in atleast 1 gallon pots or a empty icecream container (the round 1/2 gallon size) and you should be able to have them outside in the ground about may 7th maybe a little earlier there in covington, ive been there many times nice location! anyway good luck and if you need anything just email me at burrhead26280@yahoo.com

Kat, nice warm germination chamber 85 degrees or so, damp, not wet starting mix...file seeds, etc!!! Burrhead Rocks!!! Peace, Wayne (Western by God Kentucky) Grow em BIG!!!

Peppers and tomatoes should be started about the first day of spring, March 20. though it would be sooner the further south you are.

Kat, here in Virginia we usually start seeds indoors around the 24th of April. If you plan to plant the seed directly into your patch wait until the first week of May.
