I have 1 seedling that has a bad spiral or twist to the stem......like a corkscrew. The stem is twisted one complete revolution from the dirt up the the cots. I have never seen this before. Is it an early sign of ribbon or flat vine?, or will it straighten out? or does it even matter? Its been up for a few days and the first true leaf is starting to show fairly well, although not open yet, likely within a day or two.

It might be from the lighting. If the lights keep getting turned off and on the plants will tilt and move around causing the stem to twist.

Thanks, never thought of that, makes sense. Even moreso considering its a plant that only formed 1.5 cots, so there is more weight on the one side, then add the lighting factor in and it does make sense. Its a rough looking seedling, but the first true leaf is started so it should do fine, I really want to grow it, its a 998 pukos self.
