That time of year, had an 8 pointer out of velvet under apple tree this morning! Seems early?

Mmm turkey. Best holiday if you ask me. The dog and I came across a bunch in the road the other day on our way to park n shop, as in 30+ I'd estimate, and got swarmed and attacked while we sat in the vehicle in the middle of the road. I assume it was protection of the numerous newborns within the flock. Of course did I think to grab my phone, never do darn it! Bailey almost broke through my window "to play"

Not very early for shedding velvet. Normally always starts here end of august and you'll still see them in velvet weeks later.
