NY - you could rescue the good parts in some situations. I would have chucked that one but put a fan on it or test your other rescue methods. I tested a bunch of rescue methods on various degrees of damage. It might come in handy to have a method that works. Hard to convince a judge that is not dmg but technically if its all dry and healed it could still be a legit entry. I think?? I hope you'll permit me to say that in the long run, it will be better to spend your time figuring out out how to prevent it rather than cure it.

Well said Brandon! You are on the same page. This is for educational purposes only as I have other healthy plants and fruit. I knew I would get a rise from some and was hoping for some relevant info from others. I also question a judges decision if it were to dry and heal? And will it abort or will the two good portions continue to grow? Only one way to find out.
