Put in the silicone binky one day... & then later she's going to college. Or whatever else is the plan. Might end up on mobeymike's onlypumpkins site... :(!

Are you sure it's all the way through? Did you gently probe that minor rib split?

Oh no.. didn't touch it...just a small squirt of lexel caulk (the good stuff) in the hole and a little the next day. If I had to guess I'd say no , not all the way through..because there is still no soft around the edges of the crack. I can't even pick up hairballs without gagging so the missus will have to deal with any stinky mess..I say let's keep rolling....(prolly just jinxed myself)

OK interesting, seeing you're still getting measurement gains and that original minor surface split I'm just wondering if that was an "exterior expansion" split like a tear perhaps? Anyhow guess have some faith? I'm not quite sure yet GPC tolerance rules now on the degree of a blemish, size of it etc. without checking? But couple days before a weigh off soon in your area, I would clean it and check whether official on not? Anyhow good luck on that orange baby!

Right on think positive get this over the finish line! With the gains, still fresh and solid then looking back August 16 pic that spot looked ok far as I could tell? But like I said clean it out couple days before weigh off, leave it let dry then see at contest? Judges can inspect probe etc...if solid and sound should be good to go!

Been watching this for a while... where that little in the picture split is, that kin has 10-12" of meat. It hasn't grown past the Lexel and is still gaining! I think Chopzilla's still a competitor, question is, do you remove Lexel to let it dry up and scab over as it probably wont with lexel on it and is not official with Lexel? I got anxiety thinking about your issue and have issues of my own lol! Keep going Chop!
