Hey, GIT, here's a fun and cheap weigh to prevent those marks from any lifting straps that you can think about incorporating; 'Oh, no! Not on the 962!' I wish it would catch on more and especially at the weighoffs. PS---Your spider (you'll see the fitting-ness of all of this) is about the same size as mine, lol and I do have one for just that purpose as well! EG, it's funny you should say all that. The straps DID scratch a lot of the cantalouping off, which was unfortunate. I'll definitely look into preventative measures. Also, a neighbour actually turned their largest pumpkin into a spider... they used pumpkin vine for the legs, it was quite a sight to behold!
