It's just a mind exercise where you ignore everything but light and photosynthesis. Given prefect nutrients and perfect light levels this is roughly the maximum photosynthesis you can get converted into fruit growth.

But one take-home lesson he stressed was to increase light with LED grow lights both morning and evening before the days get really long (that is, once you get the seedlings in the soil) and after (August and on.) If you can get another 3-5 pounds a day in the fall, you might get another 100 - 150 pounds before harvest.
