Any seed you get from John Young has the promise of going bright orange. He is among the very best in the world at growing beautiful orange pumpkins!

Have you seen this? https://tools.pumpkinfanatic.com/ Get a towel down, 'cause it'll blow your mind if you haven't, lol. Go there, type in ExaCtLy the weight of the seed in question and let the 'site show a dropdown of that seed as the System sees it and click on View Pumpkin Family Tree; Boing. This will show you the Family Tree. Play around all day with each seed's Progeny/Detail/Others leading up TO your seed, etc. In this way, you'll at some point notice that your 2020 Patons are different (1885 X 2907) and (2365 X 2907)...See how beneficial this site can be... So, I'd plant BOTH 2020 Patons, but in far-different planting holes and GO for it with the thought that regardless, they ARE Paton seeds, lol---No signature required, lol. 2 Pat(s)on the back? They deserve them. Haaaaaaaa... I'd hate to see MY seeds on there and have them at the mercy of *their track records*, lol and be just DYING to see them grown in someone's Diary for the whole season, YAY. Ones that HAVE been have done all right. 6 seeds to be helped with. Cool! I suggest researching EVERY seed you have and know that any '25 seed has never been planted and has no track record, (Except in perhaps different countries/seasons) and therefore, no indications but hearsay as to the potential outcome. Bummer! Planting proven seeds with the likelihood of your desires being met is paramount, with let's say the rest/2-3 based on what you and others believe will do well is secondary and will start THEIR track records. I've said elsewhere 'Why plant blindly?' Ahem and sorry for that. It's like a lottery ticket that 'looks like a winner'! (Gets 2-3 numbers, lol); Be well, have fun and Good Luck with your choices! eric g

Thanks pumpkinpal for your extended comment. I know the website and love it. They also got the option to "create your dream seed" which is a cool idea but unfortunatly it doesn't seem to work. (can't choose the pollinator). Anyways thnaks for your comments guys:D
I'd be happy to hear some other opinions about my seed collection and which seeds to go with:)
