Did you kill the grass somehow or just dump stuff on top thick enough to smother it? Something you did made it a happy plant! Congrats.

Thanks for the background info on your fabulous AG! The 2465.5 Sperry seed along with a couple others of his will be highly sought out and planted next season. Nothing like good old cow manure. Great job once again on your Michigan Record, that will be a challenge to beat.

I actually just dumped the manure on top the grass in the fall and planted a cover crop of rye.
