Do the bushel gourds flower on the main vine or only on the secondaries? |

I observed male flowers on the main vine for the first 10 to 12 feet. A lot of females and males on the secondary vines. Then Females showed up on the main vine. They grow similar to squash. |

You will need to set fruit on one of the first lobes of a secondary like a long gourd. |

I agree Hank, and the BG on the main tends to be smaller the the 1st one on a side...Just my observation. |
