I have been taping for a week now and I'm seeing 1 1/2" to 2 1/2" of growth on the gourd. Avg. 4 to 5 pounds a day. What would be good growth for this time of the season?

depends on the age of the gourd more then the time of the year i have found.

im on day 10 about 8 lbs but its hanging off my fence boy theese plants get big and agressive hopeing it gets big supporting it tomm lol

I think I've peaked. I'm only getting about 1 inch a day or so. It taped 186" last night 182lbs.

no kidding, this string of 40's at night really slowed me down. unheard of here in the south for early sept !
