            | dirty dan | Springfield Mo | I acquired some bushel gourd seeds in 2002 from Paul Jeffiers in Kentucky. I have grown the same genetic bushel gourds since 2002. I grew the 177lb. bushel gourd in 2012 and set a new Missouri State Record with it. The 177 gourd was out of a 142lb. gourd that I grew in 2011.There are some pictures of my 177 on my 2012 diary on Big Pumpkins.com. My handle is Dirty Dan.
The seeds from the 177 is a long seed. It is 3/4" to 1" long. It is dark on the bottom and a lighter brown on top. If you're interested in seeds, please send a SASE bubble to: Dan Westfall, 387 E. Farm Rd. 84, Springfield, MO 65803.

            | PatrickW | Soldotna,AK | Dan, I would like to grow some bushel gourds next season. Do you have any 177 s left or perhaps you are growing another monster with some seeds you would part with. Thank you in advance. | 9/9/2015 4:42:31 AM |
