Subject: Difference between the leaves?

Hello everyone I have a question about the leaf patterns on the giant field pumpkins. I planted them and they are different than the other common giant varieties that are known to grow big. I planted big max pumpkins and the giant field pumpkins. So what are the differences between these two.

Big max are not field pumpkins they are species maxima like Atlantic giants and field pumpkins are species pepo

I love the grey markings/patterning and hope to see it soon on my 6-#37 FPs (116 Grunert X Sib); They are thus far doing very well after only a week into aged horse manure on the surface, not even tilled in, lol---the ONE that came up directly-seeded is now in last place - the other 5 were sprouted in Jiffy mix with double Mycorrhizae (one cup now into 12 dry quarts, birthday cake-moist) and also planted out with the same mixture. Just seedlings still, but soon to be famous! Ahem - eg
