            | MNFisher | Central Minnesota | Any suggestions for keeping a Field Pumpkin until weighoff? I tried an early pollination this year on my 106 and it turned out very well, but it is totally done growing. It is orange now and sitting on the vine. I would like to get it to an early weighoff but that is still a month away. Any thoughts on keeping them from going bad? We still have a couple weeks of heat to get through and last year I lost my early one. | 8/19/2014 10:55:46 AM |

            | BillF | Buffalo, MN ([email protected]) | Scott, I have always left them on the vine, off the ground, covered with a white sheet, with mice/rat poison close by. | 8/19/2014 11:11:04 AM |

            | MNFisher | Central Minnesota | Man do I have carvers for you, some of those 100 pounders would be perfect carvers with their shape. Thanks for the advice. | 8/19/2014 3:24:05 PM |
