HI! Would be fun to have someone to help that knows what they are doing to share an experience like growing the biggest pumpkin to enter into contests. Thought a farm hand would know more than me. Do you have any suggestions for me?

Or grow it yourself, first find someone close enough to drive to and visit there patch, you have all winter to read up on it. There are alot of growing clubs in the N.E.

Thanks for the tips. I did grow 32 gourd pumpkins this year. My first crop. I was so pleased. I usually just grow giant sunflowers. i visited 2 pumpkin patches so far this fall.
