 I got some of your seeds from the OVGPA, I'll be growing them in the Willamette Valley, Oregon.
 
 I noticed you had a post that your pH dropped from 7 to 6.6. This is probably due to acidification from fertilizer. In the nitrification process, NH4 gets converted to NO3, and the extra H gets dumped into the soil solution and lowers pH.
 
 They say pH 6.5 is best for overall nutrient availability.
 
 Did you direct seed the sunflowers?
